So, my roommate is a fucknut. I believe I've mentioned this before. Well, all of them are fucks, but my landlord is pissing me off right now the most. He has a habit of reconfiguring the network. This wouldn't be a problem if he'd bother to fucking let me know. He doesn't. I come home after a hard day at work with no goddamned internet access. His PC has access. No other PC does. So, he's fucked with something, and it's a problem I could fix in 10 minutes if I had the right passwords, which I don't. He's in bed when I get back from work, and at work when I get up in the mornings. So I have to leave a pissed off note at his keyboard and hope he takes a hint to FIX THINGS WHEN HE FUCKS WITH THE NETWORK FOR NO REASON. I have no idea why the hell he does this. We live in a ghetto in Las Vegas. There aren't any sophisticated bandwidth-thieving hackers here. Maybe he's afraid that thetans will intercept his transmissions to the mothership.
Also: Fuck you, Valve, for making it impossible for me to play Half-Life 2 without an internet connection. I can't even play it offline, because Steam won't start up without connecting to the server and updating.
Work has sucked lately. Inventory just makes work a bitch and a half. Even though I don't have to do any of it, my schedule is all fucked up. I am incapable of sleeping in even to 10 AM anymore, and I find myself closing most of this week. Bored as shit, because everything I want to do, I need an internet connection for.
I finished the Harry Potter book already. It was... eh. I don't know. I felt like she left something unresolved with book 4. Which went on unresolved again in book 5. And then now, in book 6. She has a lot to do for book 7, which we all know will be a couple years off. I'll have forgotten most of what happened in book 6 by the time I get to book 7. I won't spoil any of it for you nice people, except that Dumbledore likes acid pops.
I feel like I should mention some of the fuckheads I had to deal with lately at work. Maybe tonight if the pissed-off note registers and my roommate fixes the internet connection.
